Amethyst Opal Signet

A 19.95 carat natural amethyst ring topped with an Ethiopian opal.

This piece is carved from flawless amethyst with rich violet-deep purple saturation through the upper body of the ring and a softer transparent fade through the lower band. The shape follows my original dress-inspired ring style, with faceted shoulders that frame the opal and catch light through the purple gemstone underneath.

The Ethiopian opal adds flashes of green, blue, pink, and orange across the top, creating a bright contrast against the saturated amethyst body. This style has become one of my most requested gemstone ring designs, and clean amethyst rough with this level of clarity, color, and usable ring size is difficult to find.
