Ion is carved from a single, exceptional body of Brazilian amethyst, chosen for clarity rarely seen at this scale. Material capable of remaining clean through deep carving, drilling, and final polish is difficult to secure and commands it.

Finished at over 33 carats, the stone carries presence before light even enters it.

Rather than follow traditional gemstone diagrams, the amethyst was treated as sculpture. Concave and fantasy planes sweep through the crystal, bending and returning light inward. Illumination doesn’t simply reflect — it circulates, softens, and builds into a saturated electric core.

Natural diamonds are set in sterling silver and inlaid directly into the crystal — points of ignition suspended within violet depth. Their role is contrast: sharp, white fire against atmosphere.

The integration is engineered so the mechanics disappear. What remains is tension between clarity and color, brilliance and body.

The bail continues the language of the piece. Carved from matching amethyst and reinforced internally with a silver core, it preserves uninterrupted crystal while providing strength for wear. Marking a shift in approach — where gemstone becomes environment rather than ornament.
