The Gilded Marquise

A natural Tanzanian tourmaline cut in a new custom marquise design.

This stone began with a dark amber body, but one direction through the crystal opened into golden light. That natural color axis guided the shape, leading into a long marquise form with a fantasy-cut portal carved beneath the surface.

The design was built references, then reworked with added and/or removed facets until the final pattern settled into something original. The back is finished with my Radiant Solstice cut, creating the floating center effect seen through the crown.

A warm, shadowed tourmaline with flashes of gold. Hidden wealth, brought to light.
