HEART OF NEPTUNE — Nigerian Sapphire

A one-of-one natural Nigerian sapphire carved into a sculptural heart. The outline was shaped directly around the original rough, with defined shoulders, a carved central cleft, and a radiating fantasy star designed to follow the silhouette of the heart.

Its color moves through deep ocean blue, lighter blue, teal, and small areas of warm parti-color zoning. A small surface-reaching feather remains near the lower point and has been incorporated into the faceting so that the area can be safely protected by a prong. It is not readily visible face-up.
