"Space shroom"

Space Shroom

A collaborative piece featuring a flame-worked mushroom cluster set on a laminated dichroic glass base, brought together through both heat work and precision faceting. The top is formed with organic detail—clustered caps and a custom ribbon stump—while the base is cut into 85 facets, creating sharp, shifting reflections beneath it.

The contrast between the soft, grown form and the structured, optical base gives the piece its movement. Light travels through the dichro layers and reflects back up into the sculpture, constantly changing with angle and environment.
