"Stargazer" telescope

Stargazer is a hand-sculpted telescope constructed from precision-laminated dichroic glass, with brass eyepiece accents and synthetic opal components.

The body measures approximately 9 inches in length.

The piece sits on a solid clear-glass display stand featuring crushed opal components, designed to visually elevate the optical elements and keep the instrument secure.

Stargazer is fully functional, providing an estimated 10×–20× magnification, making it an interactive optical piece in addition to a sculptural work. The dichroic layers produce highly saturated, shifting colors under changing light, emphasizing contrast and depth across the barrel and stand.
